Van De Graff

Below is an example of a van de graff layout we were taught in today's session. It dates back to the origins of print as most books has this layout as the body text and layout made it legible. I fount this quite interesting and will definitely consider this layout in the future for prints.

We also re-capped on the golden ratio and how you could argue that it is essentially everywhere. But we debated that if you tried hard enough you could find a pattern in anything so its just a theory. We were taught you can also build a grid layout from the golden ratio, creating a hierarchy and controlling what the audience views first.
