LoveCraft is what I have chosen to brand and design a logo for. I stumbled across the small company on Kickstarter where I was able to find out more information on what they were offering. It consists of home brewed beers, each offering and tasting something different and unique to usual beers. So far they have five different beers available, each consisting of a completely different flavour. This is something I found interesting because it gives me an opportunity to be creative and experiment with different designs to present these beers the best I can.

However the one thing I think lets the company down is the current branding. The type reminds of the type for the band Metallica which is the complete opposite of what the company is trying to communicate to the public. The posters hold an almost retro classic look which although it looks nice atheistically, it holds no concept or hidden message. Although this could probably work in design as the flavour of the beers are so wild and unique you could probably get away with using any design to represent the different flavours, but I would prefer it to have meaning.

Different flavoured Beers

Hypnos IPA: Our flagship IPA is crafted in the Pacific North West style of balancing fruity and floral hops with a light malty body that leaves the palate refreshed. It's an easy drinker, not overly bitter, and has a bouquet of wonderful hoppy aromas.
Satori CDA: This Cascadian Dark Ale is best described as a roasty, chocolaty IPA. It's balanced with floral hops and is much too sophisticated to be called a porter. But if you're a fan of porters, you would probably love this.
Elder God Bier de Garde: This is a farmhouse style beer that is similar to a belgian ale in that it has a sweet, floral estery aroma. We added brettanomyces to it to give it a pleasant tartness. It is sweet, tart and complexly divine.
Olde Kitsap Saison: Olde Kitsap is similar to Elder God, only this brew has a lighter finish with a lower ABV (alcohol by volume). Also brewed with brettanomyces, it has a subtle tartness to it that is accented by additional floral hops. This is a light, pleasing beer that will appeal to the novice craft brew drinker and that know-it-all-home-brewer alike.
Bruthulhu Barley Wine: A beautiful monster of a barley wine. Aged in bourbon barrels for over a year! Sweet vanilla bourbon flavors collide with puckering tartness of lactobacillus. Dark, sweet, and dangerous in all the right ways!
