This is the end development which was shown to the band. They were thrilled with the cover and said it was exactly what they wanted.

The logo itself incorporates the first letters of the bands name 'W, B, A, M' inside the triangle. After much experimenting and development this design I found was the strongest at communicating the band whilst keeping the letters legible to the audience. The design itself can be used across multiple media as it works with design as well as on its own, this is essential when it comes to making a logo as it needs to communicate simply yet effectively.

The design of the sleeve itself uses different inks and layers to create energy and vibrancy to the design whilst also reflecting what the band has to offer. The use of a white transparent border helps bring focus to the centre and divides the busy background making it have more of a hierarchy for the eye to follow. The type selected was Futura as it's a clean minimal font which still holds its structure against the vibrant background, is also has similar terminals and elements as the logo which brings the whole design together as a theme.

Overall the design communicates the band effectively and engages the audience with the simplistic logo and vibrant background, the band was pleased with the outcome which was the main goal of the brief.
